Workplace Safety Bundle

This bundle will include courses that concentrate on safety.

1. Liquefied Petroleum Gas – This course has been designed to provide an overview of personal liquefied petroleum gases. This includes information about the characteristics, hazards, and typical controls used for LPG. Additionally, the course outlines some of your personal responsibilities when dealing with LPG.
2. Electrostatic Discharge – This course has been designed for employees who work in facilities with electrostatic discharge concerns.
3. Hexavalent Chromium (HexChrom) – The content of this course was designed to provide the student with the information as required by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration's Hexavalent Chromium standard, which is found in the Code of Federal Regulations as Title 29 Part 1910.1026. It discusses the origins, uses, and toxicology of hexchrome.
4. Crystalline Silica – The content of this course will discuss the chemistry, potential exposures, and toxicology of silica, and outline common control strategies to reduce the risk of this hazard in the workplace.
5. Taking Care of Your Back – The objectives for this course are to improve understanding of the physiology of the back, to recognize factors that contribute to back injury, and to identify strategies that can be implemented in the workplace to reduce the potential for back injury.
6. Hand and Power Tools – The objectives of this course are to identify the hazards associated with hand and portable power tools and to identify the specific precautions that should be taken with each type of hand and portable power tools.
